In this situation, a star actress has published a book with all her experience of weight loss surgery and her struggle before and after surgery. The actress is non-other than Gabourey Sidibe.
She recently opened up about her surgery in a memoir. The plus sized diva recently opened up about her painful caesarean process in her book. She thinks the hardship she went through was worth it. She recently said that she is in love with the new version of herself and feels more confident than ever.

The empire actress went through surgery after living with two types of diabetes for a long period of time. Last year in July she underwent laparoscopic bariatric surgery and recently has been taking the web by storms after the release of her memoir, This Is Just My Face: Try Not to Stare which includes her experience of going through the process.

In an interview with ABC news, she revealed she another side of her confident life. She confessed that she sometimes used to get so mad at herself and her body sometimes felt like a tragedy.

I Did not get this surgery to look beautiful, I did this so I can walk around comfortably in heels I want to do a cartwheel, I don't want to be in pain every time I walk up the Flight of stairs.

She struggled for about a decade to slim down naturally but nothing helped her and she finally decided to go through the painful process of weight reduction surgery. It has been ten months after her surgery and she still continues to lose weight.
