Former TV reporter Kelli Tennant has accused the Sacramento Kings coach Luke Walton of sexually harassing her years ago.

As for her claims, the coach pinned her to a bed against her will in a Santa Monica hotel room and said that he laughed at her when she asked to stop.

The incident backs years in the past, shortly after Kelli wrote her book named The Transition: Every Athlete’s Guide to Life After Sports. Walton, who was then the assistant coach for the  Golden State Warriors, reportedly wrote the foreword.

Recalling her past, Kelli, in a press conference on Tuesday, stated that Walton happened to meet her at the hotel's lobby after which he invited her to his room. She further added that he initially discussed her book before attacking her.

Out of nowhere, he got on top of me and pinned me down to the bed and held my arms down with all of his weight while he kissed my neck and my face and my chest, he laughed at me. I thought he was going to rape me.

Tennant further added saying that Walton eventually led her to the bed and that he grabbed her back again after she tried to leave. However, she said, he later let her out saying, "good to see you."

Following her accusation, when she was asked about why she had not reported the case for so long, she said,

I was scared, I felt coming forward would jeopardize every aspect of my life

As of now, concerning the issue, Garo Mardirossian, Tennant’s attorney has stated that the criminal case was unlikely as years have passed. However, PEOPLE has reported that Tennant has filed a civil suit in Los Angeles County.
