Following the death of the singing legend, Tom Petty after suffering cardiac arrest at the UCLA Medical Center at the age of 66, his music have drastically increased.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer was surrounded by family, bandmates, and friends while he died and now his music skyrocketed in the wake of his passing.

As per the report by TheWrap, with numbers obtained by music sales tracker BuzzAngle Music, the Tom Petty catalog increased 6,216% on Monday. Over four days period prior to his death, Tom averaged 950 sales that swelled to 60,000 on Monday.
The top track since the sales surge, Free Fallin (1989's),” which sold 111 copies on the day prior to his death raised to 7,981 on Monday.
In the second place, I Won’t Back Down (1989's) with 5,753 in sales on Monday (versus 67 the day before).
