Six People Killed in a Small Twin-Engine Plane Crash in Texas

Six people died after a small twin-engine plane crashed on Monday, April 22, at Kerrville Municipal Airport in central Texas during a landing attempt, authorities have confirmed.

The plane crashed at approx. 9 a.m. while preparing to land at the airport which is about 70 miles northwest of San Antonio.

According to a FOX San Antonio report, the wreckage of the aircraft was located about 6 miles from the airport.

Texas Department of Public Safety Sgt. Orlando Moreno told media that all six people aboard the plane were killed.

The twin-engine aircraft took off from an airport outside of Houston. It’s unknown what caused the crash.

However, according to federal investigators, they were headed to the scene to investigate the crash.
