Rosie O’Donnell is all set to get married! The 'The Rosie O'Donnell Show' star has become engaged to her loving girlfriend Elizabeth Rooney, after one year of dating, multiple sources have confirmed.

According to Radar Online, the Emmy-winning actress, 56, quietly proposed the police officer, 33, over the summer, however, they have decided not to make their engagement public for a while due to Elizabeth's job.

As previously reported, in November 2017, the television personality revealed that she had a new girlfriend.

She said on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show at the time, "I am in love. It’s the first time I’ve ever dated someone younger than me, and it’s a very trippy thing."

She continued, "I get along with her so well. It’s kind of fascinating. The one thing that she doesn’t know? [Barbra] Streisand. I made her watch Funny Girl. She’s like, ‘It was good.’ I’m like, ‘Come on!’"

The former 'The View' co-host also said at the time that she didn't see herself walking down the aisle again.

She said, "I will not, ever. I would rather stay in it for love and not deal with lawyers if, God forbid, it doesn’t work out."

Rosie was previously married to Kelli Carpenter (2004 to 2007) and Michelle Rounds (2012 to 2016), who died from an apparent suicide in September of last year.

Rosie has four children; Parker, 23, Chelsea, 21, Blake, 18, and Vivienne, 15 with Kelli. She also shared daughter Dakota, 5, with Michelle.

Rosie and Elizabeth first met at a theater benefit but did not cross paths again until one year later when the pair attended the same event.
