It's only three days remaining for the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and the former Suit star's dad Thomas Markle has he underwent a successful heart surgery on Wednesday, May 16.
When TMZ spoke to the former lighting director, he said the doctors “implanted stents in his blood vessels.” The outlet further added that the 73-year-old “seemed alert and coherent.”
Previously on Tuesday, May 15, Thomas told TMZ that he was set to have surgery to “clear blockage” and “repair damage” after suffering a heart attack on May 8.
He also revealed that he would not be able to travel to London for his daughter's wedding to Harry on Saturday, May 19, due to his surgery. The wedding is set to be held at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
As previously reported, one week earlier in a press conference, Kensington Palace confirmed that the couple has delayed their honeymoon.
According to some speculations, Harry is trying to keep up with his brother Prince William, who was also didn’t go on a trip with wife Kate Middleton right after getting married either due to their official duties.
