Joel McHale is an American comedian, actor, and television host famous for hosting a TV show The Soup. Likewise, he is also known for portraying Jeff Winger on the NBC/Yahoo! Sitcom community. He has also starred in the short-lived CBS sitcom The Great Indoors, Spy Kids: All the Time in the World (2011), and Ted (2012).
Joel Mchale was born as Joel Edward Mchale, on November 20, 1971, in Rome, Italy, to father Jack McHale and mother Laurie. His mother is from Vancouver, Canada, and father comes from Chicago, Illinois. He was raised Catholic.
Joel was raised in Mercer Island, Washington, where he attended Mercer Island High School. Joel Mchale received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington in History, in 1995. He also guest-starred in the NBC improve comedy show Thank God You’re Here, hosted by Dave Foley, as a cast member. Jole Mchale also appeared in Spider-man 2 as Mr. Jacks, a bank manager, acting alongside Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst.
