The Soap opera actor Jed Allan is no more! Allan died at the age of 84, on Saturday.
Famed for his contributions on Beverly Hills, 90210, Days of Our Lives, and Santa Barbara, Jed passed away peacefully in his home at Palm Desert, California, 8 days after his 84th birthday.
The news broke out after Allan's son Rick Brown confirmed via a Facebook post, on a fan page dedicated to Allan, The Official Jed Allan Fan Page. He wrote:
"So sorry to post the very sad news of my father’s passing tonight. He died peacefully and was surrounded by his family and loved so much by us and so many others."
Also, Beverly Hills, 90210 star Ian Ziering, the on-screen son of Jed Allen, shared an Instagram post displaying a tribute to the late actor.
The American actor profession from 1957 to 2012, won Soapy Award for in Days of Our Lives in 1978 and 1979.
His death was followed, 5 days after fellow 90210 actor Luke Perry's death, on Monday, on March 4.
Jed Allan was married to Toby Brown (died in 2001) and shared 3 sons: Mitch, Dean, and Rick.
