Amy Schumer Reveals Baby Boy’s Name After Giving Birth

Revealing the newborn's moniker! It's been a couple of days since Amy Schumer and Chris Fischer welcomed their first child, a baby boy, and the couple has named their adorable son Gene Attell Fischer.

The stand-up comedian, 37, took to Instagram on Tuesday, May 7, to reveal the name of the new bundle of joy of the family.

Alongside a photo of the proud dad and the newborn, she wrote, "Gene Attell Fischer and his dad Chris."

Fans are speculating that his name is a tribute to a friend of the comedian, Dave Attell.

Amy gave birth to the latest addition of the family on Monday, May 6, the same day when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed their son who they have named Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

Any and Chris announced that they were expecting their first child in October 2018 and five months later they confirmed the gender of the baby, confirming that they were seeking blue.

The couple tied the knot in a star-studded wedding ceremony on February 13 after several months of dating.

Amy previously dated furniture designer Ben Hanisch until calling it quits in May 2017.
