It was back in 200o when Bourdain hit the spotlight with a best-selling book called Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly where he described about his experiences with drugs including LSD, heroin, and cocaine.
Bourdain has always been busy and has traveled more than 250 days of the year to film his show. Bourdain's busy schedule is said to be the main reason behind his marriages and relationship failures.
In 2002, Bourdain’s first TV show “A Cook’s Tour” on the Food Network aired and three years later, he joined the Travel Channel with “Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations” picking up two Emmy Awards.
Bourdain then moved to CNN with a new travel and food show named Parts Unknown in 2013 and is in its 11th season.
