He didn't want the kiss! Following the smooch from Katy Perry to a young American Idol contestant Benjamin Glaze during the season premiere on Sunday, March 11, the 19-year-old boy, who wanted to be kissed by only the love one, is now feeling regret and wishes to take back the moment.

The Oklahoma native told The New York Times on Wednesday, March 14,

I was a tad bit uncomfortable. I wanted to save [my first kiss] for my first relationship. I wanted it to be special.

As previously reported, during the audition of Benjamin, who is an electronic store cashier, the 33-year-old songstress locked lips with him after fellow judge Luke Bryan asked him if he had ever "kissed a girl and liked it," referencing Katy's hit song "I Kissed a Girl."

At the time, Benjamin had revealed to the judges that he had "never been in a relationship and he can’t kiss a girl without being in a relationship."

The Swish Swish singer then beckoned Benjamin toward her. Although the boy playfully kissed on Katy’s cheek, she caught him off guard and stole a quick kiss on the lips.

After the kiss, he performed his song but unfortunately got failed to enter Hollywood.
