Oscar Winning Actor Morgan Freeman Makes Apology Statement After Sexual Harassment Accusations

Hollywood biggest household name, Morgan Freeman is in the 80s, but sexual harassment accusations have not spared his age. The Oscar-winning actor is accused of behaving inappropriately towards 8 women, which includes staff on film sets, employees of his production company, and journalists, sources claim.

Following the accusations this Friday, Freeman made his noble statement of apology, as he said:

"Anyone who knows me or has worked with me knows I am not someone who would intentionally offend or knowingly make anyone feel uneasy.

I apologize to anyone who felt uncomfortable or disrespected – that was never my intent."

As reported by CNN, one of Freeman's assistant who worked on the 2017 bank heist comedy Going in Style, told that Freeman subjected her to unwanted touching and comments about her figure and clothing on an almost daily basis, harassing her for months.

She further added: 

"Freeman kept trying to lift up my skirt and asking if I was wearing underwear."

CNN reporter Chloe Melas who co-wrote the investigation into Freeman stated that she also became the victim of Freeman's disrespectful behavior.

The Lucy actor Freeman is said to have made comments about women’s clothing or their bodies in front of multiple witnesses and even on camera, as per investigation made by CNN, who cited with 16 sources including victims and eyewitness.

The fans are expecting a better apology statement from Freeman.
