Offset has been charged with felony possession of a firearm following his arrest for gun and drug possession in July 2018.

according to a TMZ report, Georgia’s Clayton County prosecutors filed three charges against the Migos rapper, 27, in February.

The publication reported that Cardi B's husband is facing a felony charge of firearms possession by a convicted felon, in addition to an improper lane change and two misdemeanor charges of marijuana possession.

Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, had been pulled over in July for his tinted windows after police officers discovered a gun inside of his vehicle in Georgia.

The arrest had come just 10 days after Offset and his wife, who secretly tied the knot on September 20, 2017, welcomed their first child, daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus, together.

The Migos rapper is also a father of three children from his previous relationships: daughter Kalea Marie, and sons Jordan and Kody.

This is not his first run-in with the law. Back in 2016, he was arrested on a driving with a suspended license charge, and in 2015, he was taken into custody on drug and gun charges during a Georgia Southern University concert.
