Notorious Conor McGregor Arrested Again for Smashing a Fan's Phone; Released after Paying Bail

Professional mixed martial artist Conor McGregor was arrested on Monday morning 11th March 2019 after he stole a fan's cell phone and smashed it on the floor.

Notorious Conor McGregor was arrested on Monday after the mixed martial artist smashed the cellular phone of a fan in Miami Beach, outside Fontainebleau hotel.

He was released from the penitentiary after posting bail and walked out of the Miami-Dade County Jail at 8:00 PM local time.

McGregor was escorted from the County Jail by a waiting SUV.

As per the police report at about 5 AM on Monday morning, the owner of the cell phone and Conor were exiting the hotel, when the former tried to take a photo of the star.

McGregor slapped the phone out of the owner's grip and caused it to drop on the ground, after which he stamped on it numerous times, rendering it completely useless.

According to the police, Conor then picked up the damaged phone and walked away with it, which was captured in the hotel's surveillance camera.

The mixed martial artist was booked for theft/strong-arm and criminal mischief for over $1,000 and was held on bail for $12,500.

Conor McGregor has been in Miami, South Florida for the past few days along with Dee Devlin, his girlfriend, and son Conor Jr., and other family members.

McGregor had recently completed his probation time after being involved in the dolly attack case, where he attacked the touring bus of Khabib Nurmagomedov.
