American actor, comedian, and magician, Harry Anderson best-known his role as Judge Harry Stone on the 1984-92 TV series Night Court, has passed away at 65 at his home in Asheville, according to media reports.
Magician-turned-actor, Harry was found dead at his home by police officers early Monday, April 16, according to a report by WSPA-TV. The statement said no foul play was found at the scene.

The graduate of North Hollywood High School was born on October 14, 1952, in Rhode Island, the United States. He was drawn to the art of magic in his youth and even had joined Dante Magic Club, Los Angeles.

In the early 1980s, Harry guest starred as grifter Harry "the Hat" Gittes on NBC's Cheers, which gained him national attention. His role in Night Court as a goofy but big-hearted judge who encountered a host of oddball characters and cases every week earned him his place in the entertainment industry.
Anderson's other credits include Tales From the Crypt, Tanner 88, The John Larroquette Show.
