A recent video of actor Nicolas Cage performing a deliberate angry version of Prince's milestone song Purple Rain at a karaoke bar in Los Angeles is taking the world by storm.

The Grammy-winning actor was at a joint Sunday in L.A.'s Koreatown when he tried to sing the classic Prince song.

Nicolas Cage recently filed for an annulment from wife Erika Koike just four days after marrying her in Las Vegas.

Cage claimed that he was intoxicated at the time of the marriage.

The actor got wary of his new wife, Erika Koike and filed for an annulment.

In the court statement, he mentioned they were both wasted on booze when they married in Las Vegas.

There were indications that the marriage wasn't going to end well as they got into a heated argument before taking their vows.

However, Erika mentioned that the marriage was legitimate.

She also claimed that Nicolas asked her to come back to his life, but now she demands spousal support.

As for the song, Prince once said,

Purple rain pertains to the end of the world and being with the one you love and letting your faith/God guide you through the purple rain.

Maybe Nicolas Cage is dedicating this song Erika Koike or maybe someone new.
