Chun Li rapper Nicki Minaj and Butterfly Effect rapper Travis Scott fumbled over the #1 Album Spot on Billboard as Minaj slam Spotify for messing up her Queen album's sales chart.

Nicki's Queen and Travis' Astroworld were in a head to head battle to come out on top and be awarded the Number One album this week. But, the close competition between the two was not as close.

Minaj came out as the losing party with 20,000 album units behind Scott's Astroworld. And, the lady rapper had to take note of this.

This Sunday afternoon, on August 19, Nicki took to her Twitter to go over some complex matters. According to her Twitter, she had spoken to him and that he knew that his album was not the #1 album this week.

Further, she added,

I love my fans for the #1 album in AMERICA!

Even though Travis came out as the victor, Minaj thinks that all of the boosts in his sales came along with his partner's fame. Travis' albums received a huge boost in sales after the famed Kylie Jenner bundled his album with merchandise and tour packages.

However, a similar technique of sale was also used by the 35 years' old rapper as reported by a list of tabloids. According to them, she also used the same kind of promotional tools to increase her album sales.

The fans of Minaj who wanted to take part in the rapper's upcoming tour alongside Future were entitled to a copy of her album, Queen. With that, she also added an extra bit by offering her fans an untitled release from Future's Upcoming Album.

Nonetheless, Minaj has still to complain! After criticizing Travis for his campaign, she turned her focus towards Spotify. The rapper alleged that the streaming service had punished her for launching her album on the Apple Music's Beats 1 Radio before arriving on the Spotify network.

Spotify put Drake's face on every playlist but told me they'd have to teach me a lesson for playing my music 10 mins early on #QueenRadio

She further added,

Spotify had to teach me a lesson but rewarded the man who has had an Apple radio show the longest; inadvertently helping the Apple platform the most. They took away my promotion they had promised for the 1st Cpl days b/f of this.

While the company has not still talked to Nicki directly, they have told a media that Spotify is always supporting Minaj with everything they can and with their work, her song, Bed, saw an increase in sales.

Travis Scott's Astroworld has had a big start to its business as it has already had 167.5 million on-demand streams for the album's songs.
