Multiple Emmy award-winning reporter Tony Caputo has been working in the reporting field for 20 years and his passion for work leads him to continue his job. Reporter Tony has been working with News 12 New Jersey since 1998. Before he was involved in News 12, he worked at WBRE-TV/WYOU-TV for two years and two months. He loves to cover and report different news, a passion which ultimately helped him win multiple Emmy Awards. To win an Emmy Award is not everyone's cup of tea- to achieve such an award, people must work very hard. So now you can guess, how extensively reporter Tony Caputo has had to work.

Caputo started his journalism career in morning talk shows and night sports program as a host in WTTM-AM 920. After that, he joined WZBN-TV 25 in a news department. That job also did not last long and thus he went to WMRE-TV 28 in the news department. He worked as a business correspondent regularly, and not only did he host shows, he also did live reportings.


His achievement in his career are New York Emmy Nominations for his live field reporting and winning New York Emmy Awards twice. In 2015, Tony Caputo won On-Camera talent: Reporter-Live Emmy awards. At that time, News 12 New Jersey was nominated for 10 New York Emmy Awards. During that period, News 12 New Jersey News Director said “We’re proud of these 10 nominations and the talented people who achieved them, every day we bring the residents of New Jersey the information they need to know and we do that with enthusiasm, passion, and pride. To be recognized for those efforts with these prestigious awards is truly an honor.”



 Caputo has not mentioned about his salary and net worth, but we can fairly estimate his net worth to be in millions and his salary to have a six-figure mark. 

Talented reporter Caputo was born in Philadelphia, completed his academic education from Pennsburg high school. There isn’t much information about his education but his experience in reporting and media field is more than a decade.
