Police discovered their bodies at approx. 11 a.m. Saturday after one of the couple's sons requested a welfare check at their Englewood home.
Police began a search for Pawl Boduch shortly after making the grisly discovery. They located the suspect hours after the murder took place. He had located his car in a ShopRite parking which is nearly a mile away from the family’s house.
The motive why Boduch killed his parents was not released.
The family's neighbor, Rufus Moore told NorthJersey.com that the victims were "very good people" but their son "had some issues" with them.
Boduch was charged with one count of possession of a weapon and two counts of murder for an unlawful purpose.
Boduch is scheduled to appear in court at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
