New Hampshire Shooting: Two Dead; A Boy, 11, Was Arrested

A child was arrested on Friday, March 15, after two people; a man, James Eckert, 48, and a woman, Lizette Eckert, 50, were found shot at a New Hampshire home.

the New Hampshire Department of Justice said in a news release that authorities received a call about a shooting at a residence in Alton at approx. 7:30 a.m. Allton is roughly 45 miles northwest of Manchester.

Police found the woman dead at the scene while the man was later pronounced dead after being transported to a hospital. They both were killed from a single gunshot wound to the head, according to Autopsies obtained.

The state attorney general's office said that a kid, who is identified as an 11-year-old boy, was indicted two hours after the dead bodies were discovered.

Officials didn't give details about how the juvenile is connected to the two adults. They also did reveal possible motives in the shootings.

The 11-year-old was charged with "second-degree murder and attempted murder." It's notw clear if the charges were upgraded after James the death of James.
