The wife of the former Boston Celtics star Kevin Garnett, Brandi Padilla has filed for a divorce with the legend after the long 14 years of their marital relationship and also for a child custody lawsuit.
According to the lawsuit documents found by some tabloids, Padilla filed for the divorce this Thursday, May 12 in Los Angeles stating the reason for their split as irreconcilable differences.
Apart from filing for just a plain divorce, the lady has also filed for a lawsuit against her husband to get her children's joint custody with Kevin getting visitation approval. The date of the split is yet to be decided as the document reads, TBD.
Also, let's not forget about the spousal support she's seeking. The spousal support amount is not decided yet as it has not been included in the legal documents acquired by the media outlets.
Kevin who retired from the National Basketball Association's Minnesota Timberwolves in September 2016 after 21 seasons, walked down the aisle with his love Brandi during a private ceremony in California in July 2004.
The couple together has two children, both daughters. One of their daughters is Capri Garnett aged 10 and the other one is aged 5 years'.
