MTV Video Music Awards 2018 Nominations List: Cardi B, Jay-Z and Beyonce Lead

Is 2018 is for Cardi B? The 2018 MTV Video Music Awards nominations were announced on Monday, July 16, and the rapper and new mother, who welcomed her first child, a baby girl with husband Offset on July 10, leads with 10 nods; including Artist of the Year, Video of the Year and Song of the Year.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z (aka The Carters) are close behind with eight nominations, and Drake and Childish Gambino are tied with seven each.
