Mohamed Salah was forced to leave the ground after a shoulder injury in the first half of the Champions League game against Real Madrid. The challenge from Real Madrid's captain Sergio Ramos proved to be a dangerous one as the Egyptian's World Cup dream was doubted.

Real Madrid defeated Liverpool by 3-1 with a brace from Gareth Bale. Karim Benzema scored the other while Sadio Mane scored for Liverpool.

Liverpool's manager Jurgen Klopp was afraid that Salah might be out of World Cup. However, Egyptian National Team revealed that there is still hope for his return.

After several criticize from fans and football critics, Ramos made a tweet about Salah's injury and wished for his speedy recovery.

"Sometimes football shows you it's good side and other times the bad. Above all, we are fellow pros.", Ramos wrote.

Liverpool seemed strong with the attack prior to Salah' exit.

The Spanish defender was hugely criticized for his challenge on Salah and was described his tackle as intentional.
