Miss France Contestant Morgane Rolland, Dies After a Crash with a Tractor-Trailer

Miss France contestant, Morgane Rolland, 22, has died after being struck by a tractor-trailer.

According to Le Figaro, Morgane Rolland was riding a bicycle along with her friend on the road of Loire.

The 22-year-old model swerved off the footpath, to avoid a coming vehicle when she was hit by the tractor's trailer.

After being hit, she was pulled under the truck after being stuck between the truck and its trailer, which was loaded with logs.

Medical officers arrived on the crome to attend Morgane Rolland, who was under a cardiac arrest by then.

She was then rushed to a local hospital via air ambulance where the model was pronounced dead.

The driver and Morgane's friend were shocked by the string of events, as per the report by radio station France Bleu.

The National Director of Miss France, Mrs. Sylvie Tellier, paid her respect to the deceased model on her Instagram.

She wrote

When fate steals the life of a young 22-year-old woman, we can only be upset by this tragedy,

Have a nice trip to the land of angels, beautiful Morgane!

She further added,

Deep thoughts for her parents, her fiancé, her family and for the Miss Loire committee who had the opportunity to share moments of happiness with Morgane,

Morgane Rolland was preparing for Miss France beauty pageant when she died a horrific death.

She also remained as the runner-up in the Miss Loire contest in 2017.

Rolland was also a volunteer firefighter and loved to travel.
