Graduated from Williams College

Mika joined The Madeira School as a high school student. After her high school graduation, she joined Georgetown University. However, after being there for about two years, she got transferred to Williams College and finally graduated from there in 1989 with a degree in English.

Joined ABC’s World News

Within a year after she completed her undergraduate degree, she joined ABC’s World News This Morning. There she served as an assistant. In 1991, she began working at WTIC-TV/WTIC-DT. Within few months she got the post of general assignments reporter.
