Michigan Father Shot 2-Year-Old Son with Shotgun During Argument His Wife

A Michigan father, namely Michael Glance, intentionally shot his 2-year-old son in the face with a shotgun during an argument with his wife on Tuesday, April 23, authorities have confirmed.

The boy is in critical condition and is fighting for his life.

According to Mlive.com reports, the 32-year-old dat, who is from Blackman Township, was arrested and has been charged with three counts of assault with intent to murder and felony firearms.

The Detroit Free Press reported that he is being held on a $10 million bond. He has not entered a plea yet.

Kati Rezmierski, the Jackson County Chief Assistant Prosecuting Attorney, said, "For whatever reason, Mr. Glance decided to take his anger out on his 2-year-old child that day."

The shooting took place during a dispute between the boyf dad and mom, Nicole McCarthy, at their home.

Michael allegedly took out a pistol and shot in the head of his son, whose name is identified as Ryker, according to Mlive.com reports.

Frantically, the mom tried to get her son away from his dad, grabbing him and racing to her car.

Nicole was strapping the child into his car seat when her husband came out of the house with a shotgun.

Michael chased them and allegedly tried firing the pistol at them before they fled the scene. Police then tracked him down and taken him into custody.
