Michelle Obama has thrown her support behind the movie Black Panther during its opening weekend.
The 2018 American superhero film Black Panther is based on a character from Marvel Comics. The movie is produced by Marvel Studios, while Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures has taken the responsibility of distributing it.

Directed by Ryan Coogler, the movie features Chadwick Boseman in the lead role of T'Challa or Black Panther. Along with Boseman, the star cast of the movie includes Lupita Nyong'o, Michael B. Jordan, Martin Freeman, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, Forest Whitaker, Letitia Wright, Andy Serki, Winston Duke and Angela Bassett.

Black Panther is the first movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to have an African-American actor in the leading role.
And Michelle is not the only celebrity to throw her support behind the Marvel film. Ryan Reynolds, Whoopi Goldberg, Serena Williams, Oprah Winfrey and Kevin Hart, among others, have also praised the movie.
