Megan Anna Rapinoe is an American professional soccer midfielder/ winger playing for Seattle Reign FC and U.S. Women’s National Team. Besides Seattle Reign, Megan has also played for teams like Olympique Lyon, French women soccer club, and Sydnee FC, an Australian women soccer club.

Megan was born in Redding, California, on July 5, 1985, to father Jim Rapinoe, and mother Denise Rapinoe. She was born as the youngest among 6 children of her parents with her fraternal twin sister Rachel Rapinoe, who is also an American soccer player.
She began her training from an early age with her father, and also played with the south side of Elk Grove Pride in 2002. In 2005, Megan also played for the University of Portland.

Megan began her professional career in 2009 as she started playing for Chicago Red Stars. Later, she joined America women soccer club such as Philadelphia Independence, Magic Jack, in 2011 season.
