The three times Daytime Emmy Awards nominee, American singer, actress, and doll designer, Marie Osmond was born as Olive Marie Osmond on October 13, 1959, in Ogden, Utah, United States.

Marie is the daughter of parents mother Olive May and father George Virl Osmond. She has eight siblings, named Virl, Tom, Alan, Wayne, Merrill, Jay, Donny and Jimmy Osmond. Marie made a guest appearance on The Andy Williams Show at the age of four. 

She got married to her first husband Stephen Lyle Craig on June 26, 1982. Her husband Stephen Lyle Craig is a production designer. The couple has been blessed with one son named,  Stephen James Craig who was born on April 20, 1983. 

Marie Osmond and her husband  Stephen Lyle Craig got divorced in the year 1985. The reason behind their divorce is still unknown to her fans. 

Marie Osmond got married to her second husband Brian Blosil in 1986 at the Jordan River Temple in Utah. Marie released her first single as a solo Paper Roses in 1973.  It is a popular song written and composed by Fred Spielman and Janice Torre. The recording became a No. 1 country hit, reached the Top 5 on the Billboard magazine pop chart, and achieved crossover success.

She made her film debut in the animated film Hugo the Hippo, which was produced by the Pannonia Filmstudio of Hungary and co-produced in the United States by Brut Productions, a division of French perfume company Faberge.

Osmond published a book of handcrafted project designs, Marie Osmond’s Heartfelt Giving: Sew and Quilt for Family and Friend in 2010. The book contained step-by-step instructions for more than 20 projects, all designed by Osmond.
