Mariah Carey Achieves Her 'Childhood Dream' At Hand and Footprint Ceremony

Mariah Carey is a renowned multi-platinum recording artist with a number of GRAMMY Awards, but there was one milestone she yet had to achieve until now.

The 47- year-old singer, Mariah was honored with a hand and footprint ceremony at Wednesday's TCL Chinese Theatre, Hollywood, but told Entertainment Tonight's Nancy O'Dell that it was she who felt honored.

Mariah insisted;

Oh my god, please! I'm just happy. I'm honored to be here. This is like a childhood dream. It's awesome. I've seen pictures of the moment, and this is like, the real version of it, being here, so it's a nice thing.

Carey, who rocked a couple of stylist Louboutins for the ceremony, was not concerned getting her shoes stuck in cerement. She confessed;

They weren't the most comfortable," she confessed. "But I'll always remember what they were for.

The mother of two children Mariah recently gave Vogue a look inside her New York City closet, where the Wednesday's heels will end up. She confessed showing off walls lined with shelves of sparkling footwear;

I'm a shoe fanatic," she confessed. I'm not as casual as most people.

Finally, she fulfilled her dream. Congrats Mariah!!
