Lyric McHenry, Former ‘EJNYC’ Star, Dies at Age 26

Lyric McHenry, who appeared on EJ Johnson’s E! series 'EJNYC' star, was found dead in New York City after an East Coast birthday celebration. She was 26.

New York City police confirm a female of age 26 was found early Tuesday morning above the Major Deegan Expressway and was rushed to Bronx-Lebanon hospital where she was pronounced dead.

There reportedly were no obvious signs of trauma.

The authorities said, 

Lyric McHenry, 26, was found sprawled out on the sidewalk above the Major Deegan Expressway at Undercliff Ave. and Boscobel Place in Highbridge at about 5 a.m. McHenry was rushed to Bronx-Lebanon Hospital, where she died. Police are investigating, the matter is ongoing.

As per the report, when McHenry was discovered, she was dressed in a pajama top and not wearing pants.

Just a day before she was found dead, on Monday evening, the reality star had shared several Instagram Stories and documented her night out in the Big Apple, tagging herself at The Frederick Hotel, SoHo Grand Hotel and Dream Downtown.

In addition, the late actress posted a video of herself taking selfies in the bathroom and enjoying with friends who wished her a happy birthday.

Her sister Maya McHenry joined in on the celebrations. In an Instagram Stories video, she said of Lyric, "Why does she look so bomb? It's a joke."

McHenry, who completed her graduation from a Stanford University, also worked as an associate producer for Complex Networks.
