Contrary to fans speculations, Luann de Lesseps is not going to be fired from Real Housewives of New York City following her recent arrest, a source close to the show exclusively told Us Weekly.
As previously reported, on Sunday, December 24, the 52-year-old reality television star was arrested in Palm Beach, Florida, for battery, intoxication and resisting arrest. Luann was taken into custody after allegedly kicking a police officer.

Following her arrest, fans responded on Twitter about the possibility of Luann being fired from the Bravo series.
One person wrote,
We can only hope [she’ll be fired],
Are you kidding! It just guaranteed a contract for next year!
The Palm Beach Post reported that the former countess allegedly told people, “I’m going to kill you all,” before police arrested her.
She was released without bond after she appeared before a judge who told her not to blame herself by saying anything when he suggested that Luann might have a drinking problem.
Luann was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest with violence and crimes against a person. Three of the four charges are felonies. She is due back in court on January 25.
