British actress Sophie Gradon, who is best known for her appearance on reality dating show Love Island, has died on Wednesday, June 20, at the age of 32, multiple sources have confirmed.
As per the report, Sophie was found dead at a house near her hometown of Newcastle
In a statement to BBC News on Thursday, June 21, Northumbria Police said,
At about 8:27 p.m. yesterday (20 June) police attended a property in Medburn, Ponteland, where sadly a 32-year-old woman was found deceased. There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding her death. A report will now be prepared for the coroner.
The exact cause of death has not been revealed yet but days before her passing, the actress shared in a Facebook comment that she had been in a "critical condition".
Additionally, months ago, Sophie described her battle with crippling anxiety and depression in a series of social media posts.
The late star's boyfriend Aaron Armstrong took to Facebook yesterday and shared a tribute to her.
Along with a photo with Sophie, he wrote, "I will never forget that smile I love you so so much baby your my world forever ever and always".
Following the former reality star's passing news, many fellow contestants and fans of the show. paid tribute to Sophie.
Katie Salmon, with whom the late actress was in a relationship during the show, posted a heartbreaking tribute via Twitter. In the tweet, she described her former girlfriend as “stunning” and “beautiful."

The Love Island also tweeted in order to pay tribute to Sophie, writing,

Sophie had also previously competed in pageants. She was crowned both Miss Newscastle and Miss Great Britain in 2009.
