What started out as a joke has turned out to be quite serious these days; such is the journey of Donald Trump's candidacy for the next president of USA. Most Americans took his candidacy in a light humor while some thought of it as an ignominy of the politics of 'the greatest country on earth'.
But even the greatest skeptics these days have started believing that he could well turn out to be the next leader of the most powerful nation in the world and as a result they have been dreading for the future of their nation.
While some hate him for his blatant remarks on racism as he pledged that all Muslims should be banned from the nation, calling him anti-American and anti-freedom, at the same time, there are some who revere him for his boldness and utter honesty.
Whatever the remarks about him may be, but it looks very likely that it's going to be Trump going against one of either Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders on November 8, 2016 in the 58th quadrennial U.S. presidential election. Will America continue with democracy or will it choose to cut out the leeway and serve under republic reign for at least half a decade? Only time will tell.
