The four of them just see them themselves as Westlife! Louis Walsh has given the strongest indication that Westlife is soon going to reunite but as a four-piece, multiple sources have confirmed.

The Irish boyband has undoubtedly made their name in the late '90s under the guidance of the X Factor judge, and although Louis' now revealed that a comeback is on the cards, Brian McFadden apparently will not be involved.

Louis explained to The Sun that it will just be the "fab four" of Nicky Byrne, Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, and Kian Egan.

He said:

Brian won't be involved, it will be the Fab Four. Totally. The four of them just see them themselves as Westlife.

The 65-year-old pop manager even added that he would not change his mind if Brian, who left the boyband in 2004, personally asked to rejoin his former bandmates.

Insisted Louis:

No, I prefer a happy band and four happy people. They all know each other, they all respect each other. Three of them live in the same town in Sligo, so it makes more sense.

Last month, Louis appeared on This Morning where he suggested that the reunion would be for "a few tours and a new album", even though at the time admitted he had not actually talked to the band about it.

So we can only imagine that he has done a lot of ringing round since The X Factor finished a couple weeks ago...

Westlife scored a staggering 26 Top 10 hits during their 14 years run including 14 No.1 singles in the UK.
