In 1995, Giglio established a passion conference, The Passion Movement. The Passion Movement has hosted approximately for a million university students since 1995. Some of its major events include the first Passion Conference in Austin, Texas, in January 1997 and the "OneDay 2000", a gathering of 40,000 students outside Memphis, Tennessee and the seventeen-city Passion World Tour of 2008.
Passion Conferences hosted Passion 2013 between January 1–4, in Atlanta, Georgia. The event attended by 60,000 students from around the US and over 30 other countries, while more than 170,000 people from around 130 countries watched the conference online.
