Authorities have identified the name of the suspect who shot to death rapper Nipsey Hussle and injured many others in a shooting at a strip mall in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 31.
The gunman has been identified as Eric Holder, 29. According to a press release by Los Angeles Police Department, he is a Los Angeles resident with gang ties.
Los Angeles police took to Twitter on Monday, April 1, to share the identification of the shooter. Alongside a photo of the suspect, LAPD HQ wrote, "Eric Holder is wanted for Homicide in the shooting of Nipsey Hussle."

He was last seen in a 2016 white 4 door Chevy Cruze CA license plate 7RJD742. Anyone with information related to his whereabouts or this deadly shooting is urged to contact South Bureau Homicide at 323-786-5100

According to the news release, Eric Holder remained at large and is wanted for homicide.
As we previously reported, Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed outside his store in Los Angeles. Following his death, multiple stars, including Drake, Rihanna and Jada Pinkett Smith, paid tribute to him on Instagram and Twitter.
The suspect walked up to three men, including the Racks In The Middle singer, who were standing in front of a business in the strip mall at approx. 3:20 p.m. on Sunday.
As per the report, Eric was an acquaintance of the rapper and the two had gotten involved in a dispute before the shooting. Two of the victims were rushed to hospitals for their injuries. They are doing well now.
