Lizzie Velásquez is an American motivational speaker, author, and YouTuber. She was born in Austin, Texas, United States, to father Guadalupe Velásquez and mother Rita. Lizzie was born prematurely weighing only 1.219 kilograms. Currently, she is 29 years old, and her Zodiac sign is Pisces.

Lizzie attended Texas State University where she completed her degree majoring in communication studies in 2012. She is a Roman Catholic.

The lady is suffering from a sporadic genetic disorder similar to progeria and neonatal progeroid syndrome. With her condition, she is unable to gain weight and has never weighed more than 29 kg. Even if she consumes as much as 5000 to 8000 calories daily, she doesn't gain weight. 

In addition to that, Lizzie is also blind in the right eye while her left eye is slowly losing its vision. It has been found out that her condition is caused by the deficiency of Asprosin. Her condition is simply called Marfan Lipodystrophy Syndrome

In 2006, Lizzie was dubbed the "World's Ugliest Woman" in a video posted on YouTube, and it was after this incident, she started speaking against the bullying. In 2010, she published her autobiography in English and Spanish language. 

After a couple of years, Lizzie wrote two books called, Be Beautiful and Be You. These books share her personal stories and offer advice to people coming out of her experience. The book also shares her journey to discover "what truly makes us beautiful, and teaches readers to recognize their "unique gifts and blessings."

In 2014, she wrote another book, Choosing Happiness. In the book, Lizzie talks about some of the obstacles that she has been through and shares her experience on how she "learned the importance of choosing happiness. when things were not easy." In the same year, she also gave a TEDxAustinWomen Talk titled "How Do You Define Yourself." This video of her on Youtube has over 54 million views.

On March 14, 2015, she appeared in a documentary film, A Brave Heart, which aired on Lifetime on October 17, 2016.

In 2017, she published a sympathy book called Dare to be Kind, which deals with the importance of being kind.  Lizzie is currently seen on her Fullscreen original series, Unzipped since April 2017.
