Kyle Richards is all set for the premiere of drama series American Woman in which she is also serving as a co-executive producing on 7th June. But not everyone is happy about it. During an interview with People, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star shared how tension has been created between her and her elder sister Kathy Hilton because of the show.
The reality TV star shared with People that the show is inspired by her childhood but her sister, on the other hand, thinks that the show would be too personal. She said:
I hope when Kathy sees the show, she’ll understand. I would never tell anyone else’s stories. And I felt bad because she thought it was something that it wasn’t. I was inspired by my mom [Kathleen Richards], being a single mom in the ’70s. It was a crazy, fun, reckless time. But it’s not based on my actual life.

While her elder sister is not so sure about the show, her other sister Kim Richards is very supportive and excited about it. She added:
I love my sisters, and I would never do anything to disrespect or embarrass them. I’m looking forward to the show coming out so Kathy can see it and realize. That’s my hope.
Despite the slight misunderstandings between the sisters, the 49-year-old is very confident that they will be fine.
She also spoke about her mother who according to her is very strong and what she did for the sister trio.
My mom was a strong woman, opinionated and outspoken. The way that she raised us was very unconventional. Our house was open, and our conversations were open. I started driving to work when I was 13 years old because I was always very responsible. And my mom instilled in us a lot of confidence and trust. Everything I have now is because of what my mom did for me. She was our biggest cheerleader. And she made me feel like I was the greatest thing in the world.
