Kobe Bryant feels 'beyond blessed and excited' as he and his wife, Vanessa Bryant, expect their third baby girl, the NBA legend announced through an adorable Instagram post on Tuesday.

"Beyond blessed and excited to share that we are expecting our third baby girl!!! #Blessed #BabyMamba #Thankful."

This is the third time the Los Angeles Lakers legend and Vanessa are going to be parents— they already have two girls together, Gianna,10, and Natalia,13.

The 37-year-old has been talked his two young ones in the past and how they have been engaging themselves in various sports. “We were shooting not too long ago and she was shooting one-dribble pullups,” Bryant told. “I asked her where does she get that from? She said, ‘From watching you.’ I didn’t know she was paying attention that much. I watch her play and she has the same mannerisms. She’ll sit there and bite her jersey and all this other stuff. That’s a beautiful thing.” he continued.

kobe Bryant is named after a Japanese steakhouse. Kobe’s parents were eating in a Japanese steakhouse in Philadelphia called Kobe, and they clearly had such a good time that they decided to name their son after the restaurant.

Kobe recently ended his 20-year association as a player with the Lakers in front of a full house crowd at the Staples Center in April, scoring 60 points as Los Angeles defeated the Utah Jazz 101-96. Following the game, he addressed the crowd, lastly saying, "Mamba out," before setting the mic on the ground and walking off the court.

Kobe is set to attend ESPY Awards ceremony, which will be hosted by John Cena, where he will be honored with the Icon Award by Justin Timberlake for his immense contributions to the game.
