Coming from a family of actors, Jessica Rothe developed a keen interested in acting and dancing at a very young age. By the time she was 8, Jessica had started attending ballet classes.

Furthermore, Jessica Rothe also attended theatrical classes during her summer vacations in Kansas City. She was enrolled at Boston University, from where Rothe graduated with a degree in fine arts. During her time in the University, she taught herself to play the violin and tap dance.
