Kirk Herbstreit channeled his old self under center at Ohio State Buckeyes on Monday, putting arms toward a good cause. The 48-year-old commentator's career completion percentage for the team was over 50 percent at 56.4, so it's not so surprising that he can make this happen.

Kirk’s reaction suggests he was not sure if he would make it or not. Then again, Kirk doesn’t really aim the ball and throws it pretty casually at the hole.

Kirk might be pretended to be confident, but at least he didn’t kick the ball forward like the Dr. Pepper toss at the SEC Championship Game.

According to its website, Kirk won the $500,000 for “Extra Yard For Teachers” which states it helps educators by putting money back into classrooms. It’s undoubtedly a very worthy cause indeed.
