The NYPD official believes that Anthony is the shooter and is currently being held a prisoner in a New Jersey jail.

The police apprehended the 24-year-old man in New Jersey, who was driving a blue pick up truck which matches with the truck captured by the surveillance camera from the site of the shootout.

As per reports of the police investigators, the man from the pickup truck slammed into Cali's parked car and forced him to step out of the vehicle.

After a minute the suspect drew a handgun and fired 12 rounds, six of which hit Francesco.

The official says Frank then tried to hide behind the other guy's truck before the suspect fled away.

The 24-year-old who is from Staten Island was tracked down by the authorities in New Jersey using his cell phone.

The accused will be brought to Staten Island for trial. The police haven't reported the motive behind the murder.

They believe that the reason might be more personal rather than gang-related.
