Kim Kardashian’s 2016 Paris robbery backlash isn’t over yet! The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star's insurance company is suing Pascal Duvier (her bodyguard) and the company he worked for, ProtectSecurity, for $6.1 million.
According to TMZ reports, the television personality’s insurance company, AIG, paid her claim for jewelry stolen during the armed hold-up. The company is now claiming that Pascal was negligent and should have flagged the security breaches in the hotel.
As previously reported, in October 2016, the reality star, 37, was gagged and robbed at gunpoint while she was in her Paris hotel during Fashion Week.
The thieves stole more than $10 million in jewelry from Kim, however, according to TMZ reports, the insurance company paid $6.1 million for the items, including her 20-carat engagement ring from her husband Kanye West.
This lawsuit news comes the same day multiple sources confirmed the KKW Beauty founder is “still taking precautions” regarding her personal safety after the incident.
According to a source, "She still has 24/7 security. The amount has still stayed the same since the robbery. She is always aware of who is around and where she is staying."
