Kim Kardashian is again on the social work wagon as she is meeting President Donald Trump to request a pardon for Alice Marie Johnson.

As reported by TMZ, she along with her attorney Shawn Holley will meet the President on Wednesday. She will be asking for presidential clemency for Alice, a 62-year-old who is at the Aliceville Correctional Facility in Alabama serving a life sentence.

Reportedly, Trump took a great interest in the case, as his daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner have been working on it with the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star.

Moving along, Alice was sentenced to life imprisonment in 1996 for a nonviolent drug offense and money laundering for the first time. Her case made headlines in October 2017 and Kim also tweeted a video sharing the story of the woman who is also a grandmother and a great-grandmother.

Earlier this month, E! News shared that Kim has been talking with Ivanka and Jared to free Alice who has already spent 21 years in prison.

Kim’s lawyers have been investing in the case for quite some time now, and TMZ reported that Alice even wrote to Kim thanking her for her interest in her case.
