Harty Condolence! Keith Flint, the lead singer for The Prodigy band died on Monday, March 4, from an apparent suicide. He was 49.
His death was confirmed by a member of the English electronic music band, Liam Howlett. He took to Instagram and shared an emotional post to announce his death and pay tribute to him.
Alongside a photo of the late musician, Howlett wrote,
The news is true , I can’t believe I’m saying this but our brother Keith took his own life over the weekend. I’m shell shocked , f–kin angry , confused and heart broken ….. r.i.p brother Liam #theprodigy.

Another statement released on the band's official Facebook page reads,
It is with deepest shock and sadness that we can confirm the death of our brother and best friend Keith Flint. A true pioneer, innovator and legend. He will be forever missed.
The Facebook post concluded by thanking the fan followers for "respecting the privacy of all concerned at this time."
According to the Associated Press report, Keith was found dead at London home. The Essex Police told media that his death isn't being treated as suspicious.
The musical band, which was formed in 1990, was set to tour the USA this spring.
Keith is survived by his wife, Mayumi Kai, with who he was married for 12 years.
Funeral and memorial services for the late musician will be announced in the coming days. Rest In Peace Keith Flint!
