During her childhood, Kathy Brock used to work on her family farm. She was educated at Pasco High School. Upon graduation from high school, she enrolled at Washington State University where she was president of her sorority and served as Rush Chairman for the Intra Fraternity Council. Later she earned her Bachelor’s degree in journalism and shortly after that began her journalism career.
As a professional journalist, Kathy began her career in 1990 with WLS-TV as a co-anchor of morning news alongside Alan Krashesky. After three years, she became co-anchor of 6 pm newscast with Floyd Kalber. After 5 years Brock co-anchored the show with Alan Krashesky.
In 2003, Kathy was promoted to the 10 pm newscast along with Ron Magers. After 13 years together, Ron Magers retired and Brock teamed up with Alan Krashesky.
Throughout her journalism career, Brock has worked for KUTV-TV, KBCI-TV, KEPR-TV, and KWSU-TV.
When it comes to her personal life, Kathy Brock has managed to keep her personal life far away from the media. However, she is reported to have married twice; her first husband, Micael Staab was an attorney and she has two children from her relationship with him. After separation with her first husband, she married Douglas P. Regan, a banker of JP Morgan. The married couple is together and living a blissful life and there is no reported conflict or extramarital affairs about the couple.
