Kanye West Pays $85,000 To License Cover Art for Pusha T’s New Album DAYTONA

Kanye West, the primary guest of controversy, has raised the eyebrows of all with his new creation in the production of Pusha T's new album DAYTONA.

Earlier, today, the My Name Is My Name rapper, Pusha T revealed the new cover art for his song What Would Meek Do from new album via his Twitter, which is reported to be purchased for $85,000.

It turns out to be a photograph of late singer Whitney Houston‘s bathroom, featuring her struggle with drug addiction.

The photo was originally taken secretly by a family member in 2006 and was previously published in the National Enquirer.

Previously, a month ago, Kanye revealed via Twitter that his album cover may include a picture of the plastic surgeon who performed his late mom's final surgery.

Though on Wednesday, Pusha made his appearance on The Angie Martinez Show, to promote his album, which released today and talked to Angie Martinez about West's last minute changes to the album cover’s artwork.

He  even told:

"I love it. I actually do love it. It's dope. I absolutely didn't want to pay for it. It's a picture. To license it worldwide is $85,000," he teased. I'm not really too fully entrenched in the art world like that. I'm just going to let him do his thing."

As per the 41-years-old rapper's statement on Thursday to Entertainment Weekly, the album art matched the energy of the energy of his song. After the cover was out, Kanye and Pusha expressed gratitude for all the positive reviews thus far.
