As previously reported, the singer, 24, and the Drop the Mic co-host, 21, became legally married at a courthouse in New York City; they were reportedly spotted getting a marriage license on Thursday, September 13.
A source told PEOPLE at the time, "They went ahead and did it without listening to anyone".
Next day, Hailey took to Twitter and went on to say that she was not married.
She wrote in the since-deleted tweet, “I understand where the speculation is coming from, but I’m not married yet!”
A friend close to the couple explains Baldwin “feels a civil ceremony and their ‘real’ wedding are two separate things.”
According to a source, though the duo legally married at the courthouse, they are going to have a religious wedding ceremony to celebrated their big day with family and friends soon.
The insider told PEOPLE, "They’re going to have a big blowout, in front of God and everyone they love."
A second source says, "Since they began dating, Justin has been 100 percent committed. They’re young and in love and feel confident about their relationship."
They got reunited in June nearly two years after announcing their split; they previously dated each other from 2015 to 2016.
