Justin Bieber stepped up to defend Chris Brown in the face of backlash from Chvrches who criticized Marshmello for working with CB because of his history of violence towards women.

The Grammy-award winning singer buddied up with Chris Brown on social media this Friday on his social media.

Bieber posted a picture equating CB to rapper Tupac and pop icon Michael Jackson and added Chris Brown is being underappreciated like the deceased music icons were before they met their demise.

Justin tweeted,

everyone wants to wait til people die To give them the credit they deserve. I'm calling it now when CB passes away after a long full life, you will miss what you had in front of you the whole time the people who have over looked this mans talent because of a mistake he made.. you need to reevaluate.

The King of Pop was accused as a child molester before and after his death, while the God of Rap, Tupac spent time in prison on grounds of sexual assault.

Chris Brown is currently the subject of a rape case in Paris and prior to that, the RnB rapper pled guilty to the charges against the assault of singer Rihanna in 2009.
